Introducing: Brian Nutter

Denne artikkelen er over ett år gammel, og kan inneholde utdatert informasjon.

Nashville, Tennessee – May 13, 2013 – So much talent gathers in a town like Nashville. Like Jason Aldean’s song “Crazy Town” says: Everybody plays, everybody sings”. And it’s true. Brian Nutter is one of those people. He grew up in a musical family in a small town in West Virginia and started playing guitar and singing in bands by the time he was fourteen, mainly playing rock and metal music. After studying music at West Virginia University, and continuing to play in every club that would book his band, Brian moved to Los Angeles to be a session player and do recording/engineering. Just after the millennium he made it to Nashville and ended up playing for many top country music artists like: Lonestar, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Taylor Swift and his buddy Christian Kane. By 2007, Brian went on the road providing guitars/banjo/mandolin and vocals for, none other then, Keith Urban.

But Brian is more then just a really great guitar player. Hey, to be playing with Keith Urban you must be a guitar hero anyways. But no, he’s branching out on his own. Playing country rock shows all over Nashville, and some shows in other places, when there’s a break in the massive touring schedule. It sure is a big difference from playing the Bridgestone Arena during the We’re All For The Hall benefit concert, sharing the stage with the biggest names in country music, to a 6pm show at 3rd & Lindsley but if that’s what it takes then Brian will definitely do it.

Earlier this week when playing this hip local venue at 6pm Brian mentioned he had never played this early in the evening. Saying “Man, it’s still light outside!” The black curtains however keep the light out, then the mic’s and speakers get turned on and the band starts to play while people slowly start coming in. Playing his own material Brian got the best reaction to “Drink To This”, his party song “Love & Tequila” and “Red Sundress”. You can see a video of him performing “Drink To This” below.

If you’re not able to come to Nashville to see Brian play, don’t worry he often does StageIt shows where he invites his fans into his guitar loft for a live streamed performance. People from all over the world log in to see the show and join the chat session. Some Europeans even getting up at two in the morning to join the fun. The things we do for some good music!

Brian will also be playing two shows in the UK again after a great response to the tour he did over there with Jenn Bostic, The Life of Riley and Christian Kane this last November. Dates for that are:

May 30th         The Garage, London
May 31st         Band on the Wall, Manchester

If you would like to see more from Brian then keep an eye on his Facebook page. He also has a website but I’ve found that the facebook page is kept up to date better.
