American Country Awards er enda et glamorøst show for countryartistene. Showet går av stabelen for første gang mandag 6.desember 2010 i Las Vegas. Det unike med dette showet, er at det er fansen som stemmer frem vinnerne.
I tillegg til CMA Awards, ACM Awards, og CMT Music Awards, er dette altså det fjerde awards showet som er dedikert til countrymusikken.
De nominerte til American Country Awards ble offentliggjort mandag 18. oktober 2010. Lady Antebellum og Easton Corbin er i ledelsen med sju nominasjoner hver, fulgt av Carrie Underwood med seks nominasjoner og Miranda Lambert og Josh Turner med fem.
15. november ble lista over artister som skal opptre i showet frigitt, og her kan man glede seg til blant annet Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton og Josh Turner. Det to timer lange arrangement vil også inneholde opptredener med Laura Bell Bundy, Rodney Carrington, Jewel, Lady Antebellum og Bret Michaels. Jeff Dunham skal også få folket i salen til å trekke på smilebåndet…
