Tack Elton John

Elton John har varit aktiv singer / songwriter i snart 50 år, han tänker därför sluta. Det innebär att man gör samlingsalbum av det mesta av hans hits. Ett album heter ‘Restoration: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin’ och där sjunger och spelar countryartister. Den andra plattan med pop och R&B artister och heter ’Revamp: Reimagining the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin’ Jag tycker att albumet med countrystjärnor är bäst.

På countryplattan finns t ex Don Henley / Vince Gill med ”Sacrifice”, Rhonda Vincent (The Queen of Bluegrass) med Dolly som gör en härlig version av ”Please”.och Little Big Town som sjunger ”The Rocket Man”.
